Terms of service
These terms apply to the HTTP API at https://api.boscolabs.dev, its MCP endpoint and the credit packs sold for it (the Service). Bosco Labs is run from the Netherlands. Contact: support@boscolabs.dev. The Actors on the Apify Store are sold by Apify under Apify's own terms.
1. Keys
- You get an API key by confirming your e-mail address. One free trial per person or organisation.
- Keep your key secret: calls made with it are charged to it. If a key leaks, tell us; we block it and move its credits to a new key.
- You may use the Service for yourself, your company, or inside your own product, including an AI agent that acts for your users.
2. Credits and prices
- The Service is prepaid. You buy credit packs ($10, $50, $200) through Stripe; 1 credit = $0.0001. Each call costs the credits listed per tool on the API page. A call that fails on bad input or finds nothing costs nothing unless the tool page says otherwise.
- Prices are in US dollars and include any VAT.
- Credits expire 24 months after the purchase they came from.
- We may change per-call prices with 30 days' notice on this website. Credits you already bought keep their dollar value.
3. Refunds
- Unused credits are refunded on request within 14 days of purchase, to the original payment method. Write to support@boscolabs.dev.
- If we stop the Service or a tool you paid for, unused credits are refunded on request.
- If a call was charged in error (an outage or a bug on our side), we return the credits.
- EU consumers: by using credits straight after purchase you ask us to start the service at once; the 14-day withdrawal right then covers only credits not yet used.
4. What the data is, and is not
- Every result comes from an official public source and carries a link to it. We return the data as the source publishes it, with derived fields marked. Sources can be late, incomplete or wrong, and we can make mistakes reading them.
- Results are information, not legal, tax, customs, medical, investment or compliance advice. A sanctions screen does not replace your own due diligence; a tariff lookup is not a binding ruling. Check the linked source before you act on a result.
- Some results contain personal data that the source publishes, such as names on sanctions lists. Use it only for the purposes the source allows, such as compliance, research and due diligence. See privacy.
5. Fair use
You may not resell raw API output as a competing bulk data service or use the API to download a source in bulk; share your key outside your organisation or product; deliberately exceed rate limits, attack, overload or reverse-engineer the Service; or use it for anything unlawful, including profiling of private persons. We may slow down, suspend or block a key that does. If we block a key without a breach on your side, we refund its unused credits.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for the Service to be available around the clock but give no uptime guarantee. Sources can change or disappear, and we may change or retire a tool. Changes that break existing calls are announced at least 30 days ahead on this website.
7. Liability
The Service is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profit or decisions taken on a result, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in those 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date below changes and material changes are announced here 30 days ahead. If you do not accept a change, you can ask for a refund of unused credits.
9. Law
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent Dutch court, unless consumer law lets you go to your own court. Please contact us first: support@boscolabs.dev.
